Setup Guide v2.4

Getting Started with NexusPlay

Unified Gaming. Optimized Performance.

Installation

Deploy the NexusPlay client and initialize the core game library in under three minutes.

Step 1: Download the official installer. The package (NexusPlay-Setup-2.4.1.exe) weighs 48MB and bundles the Vulkan 1.3 runtime and DirectX 12 redistributables.

Step 2: Run the executable as Administrator. When prompted, select your primary NVMe SSD (e.g., C:\NexusPlay or D:\Games\NexusPlay). Ensure at least 2.1GB of free space is available for the core launcher and pre-compiled shader cache.

Step 3: Enable "Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling" and "NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency" in the setup wizard. These toggles bypass Windows display bottlenecks and cap frame pacing to 1ms.

Step 4: Click "Finish Installation". The client will auto-launch, verify file integrity, and sync the default library manifest. Wait for the "System Ready" badge before proceeding.

Login & Account Linking

Authenticate your credentials and unify your first game store into the NexusPlay dashboard.

Step 1: On the home screen, locate the "Account" panel in the top-right corner and select "Link Store". Choose your primary platform: Steam, Epic Games Store, or GOG Galaxy.

Step 2: A secure OAuth window will open. Enter your store credentials and approve the requested permissions: "Read Library", "Sync Achievements", and "Manage Cloud Saves". NexusPlay never stores your raw password.

Step 3: Return to the client and confirm the connection. The dashboard will scan your library and populate the "Ready to Play" queue. For example, linking Steam typically imports 14–32 titles depending on your purchase history.

Step 4: Configure default launch parameters. Toggle "Force 60Hz" for competitive shooters, enable "HDR Color Mapping" for supported titles, and set your preferred overlay keybind (default: Ctrl+Shift+O). Click "Save Profile" to finalize.
